  3. Thessaly, and be wild and lawless; the mentor
  4. of Hercules, Chiron, was an exception. The
  5. earliest representation of centaurs (about
  6. 1800-1000 BC) were excavated near Famagusta
  7. in 1962, and are two-headed. Some female
  8. representations are also known.
